Situated a stone's throw between Cape Cod Bay and the Atlantic Ocean is a region on the Cape known for a chain of beautiful Lakes that offer the visitor a unique beauty.
 
Our cottage is located just steps from Hinckley's Pond, one of three lakes a short distance from one another.  Bring your kayak or canoe to explore Hinckley's Pond from our deeded dock.  On another day, explore Long Pond and Seymour's Pond—just minutes away. 
 
Bring your bikes and explore the fantastic Rail Trail Bike Path just 2/10 miles from the cottage.  Turn left on the bike path and ride by a beautiful Cranberry Bog on one side and the Pond on the other, where you can stop at the small private beach for a swim.  Continue on and stop for a drink at quaint Pleasant Lake General Store before you ride on to see Long Pond and Seymour's Pond.  The Brewster General Store, Nickerson State Park (trail map) and Cape Cod Bay are all within biking distance.
 
The famous Cape Cod Beaches on the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay are conveniently located to the cottage.  Some of the best Golf Courses on the Cape (The Captain's Golf Course in Brewster and Cranberry Valley in Harwich are close by), great Restaurants and many Antique Shops are also just minutes away.  If you appreciate the arts, hop on Route 6 to visit the art galleries in Wellfleet and Provincetown.  Or, head to Dennis and the Cape Playhouse for wonderful theatre productions.  There are also many local concerts and town festivals throughout the summer.
 
After an active day in the summer sun come back to our 3 bedroom hide-away decorated so beautifully that you'll feel you are living in the pages of a Pottery Barn catalog!  Cool off in the Outdoor Shower before you take a well deserved snooze between cool sheets.  Each room is painted a soothing color of the Sea or the Sky with crisp white woodwork.  Beautiful lightweight quilts and artistic details complete the serene atmosphere.
 
After a relaxing siesta you can have a Barbeque, and sip lemonade or cocktails on the Deck.  Enjoy peek-a-boo views of Hinckley's Pond as another perfect Cape Cod day fades away and becomes a lasting memory!

Well, I've finally unpacked, and wanted to make sure I dropped you a thank you note for allowing us to rent your cottage last week. It was just too cute and BY FAR the best maintained rental we've all stayed in during our many years visiting the cape. Actually, I'm re-doing my 2nd bathroom and made sure to have my husband take some pictures of the great decorating ideas in the cottage! It was obvious that an artist with a good eye for color decorated.

Anyway, thank you again - I hope you found that we left the cottage in as great a shape as we found it and if we decide to visit the cape again next summer, we would be thrilled to be allowed to rent your cottage again.
